PROFILE...

THE 24HR PLUMBER was formed in 1991 in North Wales, United Kingdom, by Ian R. Pocock, Master Plumber. The company, a sole trader at that time, soon became an established name in the North Wales area, serving several hundred clients in the rural beauty of the Snowdonian region, but stretching to the east and over the English border, even as far as Liverpool and Chester.

In 1995 an employee of the company, Tim Cole, with his family, moved to the southwest peninsula of England and started a second 24HR PLUMBER, serving that area, from Bristol to Cornwall. (THE 24HR PLUMBER, S.W.)

Recently Ian's son, Sam, has taken up the business and is starting the 3rd 24HR PLUMBER, serving the Central South Coast Area of England.

The millennium year 2000 came and Ian met a wonderful American lady, Bonnie, who enticed him to Kentucky, U.S.A and in July 2001 he immigrated and married Bonnie in the beautiful setting of the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee.

After a few weeks settling into his new home, Ian started working as a plumber in Louisville, KY with an established company, undertaking many varied tasks and learning the American way. Since arriving in July 2001 he has mastered the art of plumbing American style, gained both his Journeyman plumber's license and KY Master Plumber License. Now, in September 2004, THE 24HR PLUMBER, U.S.A. has opened for business, serving the Louisville Metro Area, to include Meade, Hardin, Bullit and surrounding counties.
